This November, the John Jay Middle School Fall Drama Club invites audiences to enter the world of The Legend of Sleepy Hallow, where memorable characters, mysterious happenings, and the legend of the Headless Horsemen comes to life.
“Excitement is building as over 50 students work together to put their creative stamp on the retelling of the legendary tale originally written by Washington Irving. It has been wonderful to watch the cast grown in confidence, develop their characters, and build connections with one another throughout each rehearsal. They are learning that a successful production takes more than memorizing lines -it requires listening, collaboration, flexibility, and supporting one another” says producer Marcia Daley-Savo.
“From the performers onstage to the crew working behind the scenes, each participant plays an important role in creating the world of Sleepy Hollow. Their creativity, enthusiasam, and dedication are helping all the pieces come together as we prepare for opening night” adds Nicole Tolli, a JJMS Teacher and member of the MS Production team.
The John Jay Middle School Fall Drama Club looks forward to welcoming families, friends, and community members for an evening of mystery, suspense and spooky fun.
Tickets are $10 at the door.
